As someone born in the year of the Ox, I'm deemed auspicious. When I was young, my grandma gave me special roles at my uncles' wedding; I was made to feel as important as the bridegroom.
As someone born in the year of the Ox, I can't marry someone who was born in the year of the Tiger because tigresses could kill the strongest of oxes. That would mean anyone who's one year my junior is off-limits; it sucks because hot girls I know are mostly one year younger.
As someone born in the year of the Ox, I'm supposed to be patient. I was called patient once but I didn't like it and told her it was stupid and I had no patience for people who don't say I'm suave, confident and unpretentious - the three most desired qualities my Lake District travel mates look for in their other half.
What are the three qualities you look for?
