2007 was a year of coming to terms with feelings and of contemplation about life. It was a year to look back on with a chronic case of selective memory and say, hey, it was a good year.
It was a good year when I think about Terri, the motherly manager I had during my summer internship who had made my first real job an enjoyable learning experience. It was a good year when I remind myself how lucky I am to be on a work placement and not slaving over university coursework and final year projects. It may seem counter-intuitive, but it was a good year when I think of the downs I had over the year for I now know the source of my unhappiness.
2008 will be a year of consciously guided feelings, of living life, of knowing what I want and getting them, and of more skiing. I truly wish the same for you. Happy New Year.
