1/500s | f7.1 | 27mm | Little Venice.
From the windows of the pantry in my office (can be seen in the distance in the picture), where I like to sneak off to at intervals, I have a great view of Little Venice. I brushed the dust off my camera and went there last Sunday to have a walk. The weather wasn't perfect but the point is I was out with my camera.
It took me a week to post this up due to laziness; when I get home from work, I just don't feel like doing anything. I switch my brain off completely and consume TV shows and movies, hoping for a jolt of inspiration. I don't even read that much anymore. The worst part is I dream about spreadsheets with complicated nested "if" statements.
If I were to stick to a 9 to 5 job, this is what's most likely to happen: I would have my energy sapped every weekday at the office, waste my weekends "relaxing", be lulled into complacency by a steady stream of monthly salary but still live in constant fear that I would not have enough to retire and probably be disappointed with how my life turns out.
Fuck that.
