1/600s | f13 | 27mm | On Redang Island's Marine Park.

I was gone for a week and swam with the fishes, in the literal sense. As part of my one month break before work in the real world starts, I went to the East coast of Malaysia and returned to Redang Island, which, I thought was the prettiest island ever when I was younger. Less charming than I last remembered it to be notwithstanding, the trip was revitalizing.

The highlight of the trip, apart from snorkeling and the sighting of a clown fish (Nemo) and sea turtles, was the whole day spent at the beach. I read, and when it got too hot, jumped into the clear blue ocean to have a swim and repeated that as seen fit; that's the way to live life, I tell you.

I watched fellow beach-goers at times, made a few astute observations and under the attap-shade - my Bodhi tree, if you will- discovered the source of all unhappiness. I shall be revealing the Source in my work-in-progress, The Better You™ seminar. So, book your tickets now and contribute to my get-rich-and-buy-an-island fund. I am so going to live comfortably with a new book on the beach each day for the rest of my life!
