The awesome sight from the Eye.

If you got to this site through Top Ten Sources on London, you're probably expecting to find more about the cool places to go while in London. I shall not dissapoint then.

London Eye; I hated paying 13 pounds to go on it but I was pretty impressed by the whole experience. At risk of sounding banal, the view from the Eye was breath-taking. As a photographer, the vantage point from which I could see the City of London in its full glory was a dream come true. It was a good thing too that I went at dusk; the pinkish hue of the sky against the Big Ben was a sight to behold.

The only downside is of course, the price. If you so choose to lap up the cliches-fraught review, prepare to part with 13 quid for what is essentially a 30-minutes ferris-wheel ride. There's a much cheaper option if you're looking at seeing London from an elevated position. There's Alexandra Palace, about an hour from Central London. That is, of course, another review for another day.
