After watching Constantine (which is really cool, btw), my friends and I made our way to the AppleStore to check out iPod shuffle. We didn't get to see shuffle but saw Asha Gill instead; turned out Apple stores in the Los Angeles area are not the only ones which are star-studded.
I envy celebrities. They get to scribble "jokes" on people's writing-pads and sign off with little hearts. They have people chanting their names like they're a semi-god/goddess. Apple store's staff pay them special attention too. And best of all, they have the money to burn on iBooks (Ms. Gill has one of these beauties) and the like.
I envy them because I need to beg for a sheet of writing paper when I forget to bring mine. People have a hard time pronouncing my name let alone chanting it. Bloody Apple store's employees treat me like dirt. And worst of all, I don't have the dough to blow on a single Powerbook.
Totally unrelated, check out this business site I've been working on for the past one month. It's for Yap and his enterprising friends who are in the wedding photography business. Yap is extremely good at taking photos, so if you're getting hitched, why not drop him a line and he'll be glad to immortalize your big day with his camera.
It's great that the site is displayed on both IE and Mozilla with minor differences. It's an amazing feeling; seeing your labour-of-love showing up as intended after weeks of hard work. I wish I could work on more such sites but with major exams a couple of months away and a growing list of bought-but-not-yet-read books, I have to put my own little business venture on hold. Darn; I could use with more money so that I could burn it on getting a Powerbook.
